PERSONAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION FRONT OFFICE



A.      FRONT OFFICE MANAGER
The main functions: Directly supervise all front office personnel and ensure that all the operations department running smoothly.
Duties and responsibilities:
1.        Participate in the selection of the selection front office clerk
2.        Supervise the front office workload
3.        Evaluate the performance of the work front office clerk
4.        Maintain working relationships and communication conducive to another department in the hotel.
5.        Maintain control of the master key
6.        Verify the accuracy of the room status information
7.        Reviewing and completing report credit limits
8.        Make a budget (budget) front office department
9.        Verify cashier reports, particularly financial receipts and deposits.
10.    Conduct regular meetings are scheduled with staff or front office personnel.
11.    Conduct training / cross training for front office employees.
12.    Making decisions - effective decision regarding the reservation policy and the determination of the room.
13.    Dealing with problems - problems and complaints from guests politely and quickly.
14.    Provide assignments and prepare weekly work schedule

B.       ASSISTANT FRONT OFFICE MANAGER
The main functions: to help the front office manager in coordinating the implementation of the Front Office department. Responsible to: Front Office Manager
Duties and responsibilities:
1.        Carry out training on the new front office employees
2.        Monitor the account - the guest account, payment and authorization checks and procedures specific credit.
3.        Reviewing the reservation for today and prepare estimates occupancy.

C.      RECEPTIONIST
The main function: to sell rooms and receives guests with efficient, courteous and professional as well as running the established service standards. Responsible to: senior or head recepsionist.
Duties / responsibilities:
1.        Implement registration and allocate rooms to guests upon request
2.        Prepare the pre-registration and block of rooms that have a reservation.
3.        Understand the discretion of the hotel on payment in cash, credit cards, traveler's checks, etc.
4.        Cooperate with the housekeeping room status update and track the status differences room.
5.        Understand the location of the room, the rooms are available and price.
6.        Process according to the procedure guests check out.
7.        Using suggestive selling in selling and promoting other facilities
8.        Ensure that all guests have a registration and served with efficient and suave.
9.        Operate equipment molding machine locks the front office, the use of safety box etc.
10.    Applying ethics good phone
11.    Understand the safety and emergency procedures
12.    Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area reception
13.    Keeping up with both the data - the data during a stay at the hotel guest

D.      FRONT OFFICE CASHIER

Duties / responsibilities
1.        Fully responsible for the money received in one shift
2.        Operate the post in the front office equipment, such as computers and cash registers
3.        Complete the guest's financial check in and check out
4.        Post a load into account
5.        Handle paid out
6.        Handle cash, traveler's checks, credit cards and direct payments
7.        Posting payments instead of a guest - Ledger
8.        Getting the house bank and try to get the total balance

9.        Obtain reports revenues and expenditures in the front office.
