ROLE OF FRONT OFFICE


Connecting from previous posts, here I will describe some of the role of the front office. Department front office a mission that is vital for the success of the hotel business. For products that become the main income (main revenue / income) is the hotel room. While the second largest revenue is from food and beverages (food & beverage).
The role of the front office to the hotel include:
1. The first impression is the last impression and at the same time for guests staying at the hotel.
2. As the nerve center hotel
3. As a communications center
4. Maintain relationships with guests and other departments in the hotel
5. The main vein of a hotel
6. heart hotel
7. wick hotel
8. The coordination center hotel services
9. Counter information for guests
10. Sources of information for sales and marketing potential hotel.
The role of front office department such an important cause is given a designation that describes departemaen center where all else depends on it. Without the front office hotel activity becomes disturbed. Even at the end cycle in product and service will be stopped. Thus the first and last impression that will determine the desire and motivation guests to return again or not kehotel.

FRONT OFFICE ORGANISATION
The size of the organizational structure of a hotel front office will be largely determined by three things:
a.     Hotel size (large / small hotel)
